Idea

LiveChat is creating a new communication platform. Today it allows to chat live with visitors on your website, and tomorrow? Artificial intelligence, automatic text analysis and translation, chatbots… Limitless possibilities.

The objective of LiveChat Hackaton is to reveal the potential hidden in the communication platform open for integration with 3rd party systems.

Do you have an idea for a breakthrough solution that will change the way people communicate over the Internet? Or maybe it is just ‘a little tweak’, that users won’t believe they could live without?

You have one day to implement the working prototype, present it to the jury and other participants, and win the LiveChat Hackaton.

Event date

Saturday, June 4h 2016, from 9:00 AM till 9:00 PM

Task

A tool for extending capabilities of LiveChat communication platform. Integration API will be provided during the event.

Technology

Any language that can support websocket connection (such as node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or C#).

Host

Hackaton is organised by LiveChat.

Teams

Up to 3 people (designers, developers, testers), formed on the day of the event.

Equipment

B.Y.O.L – bring your own laptop.

Entry fee

Event is free of charge.

Awards

We’re looking for bright minds to form a new R&D team. If you love to experiment with new technologies, we want to offer you a dream job: playing with the newest technological toys and coming up with cool applications for them.

Sounds good? Prove yourself during the upcoming LiveChat Hackathon and win a spot in the R&D team.

The winning team will be offered a job in LiveChat. They will also get $500 Amazon.com Gift Cards for each team member.

We will also reward the 2nd place with $200 Amazon.com Gift Cards and 3rd place with $100 Amazon.com Gift Cards.
