Add HelpDesk to the chat widget

Do you want to display a ticket form directly in your chat widget? Or provide support when you’re offline? With our HelpDesk integration, you can add the contact form to the chat widget and let customers choose the communication channel that suits them best.

How to add the HelpDesk contact form to the chat widgetLink icon

You need the HelpDesk integration installed for the welcome screen add-on to work. If you want the ticket form to work while agents are offline, set the chat widget availability to always.

Start by navigating to the welcome screen settings section. Expand the Manage content drop-down menu.

Select Activate on the HelpDesk tab to add the tools to your welcome screen.

Save changes to complete the setup.

How to remove the app from the chat widgetLink icon

To disable the tab or navigate quickly to the HelpDesk platform, select the ellipsis button and then the option you’re interested in.
