Every sub-processor that handles personal data within Client Data signs a Data Processing Agreement with us. This agreement establishes clear data protection standards and ensures compliance with applicable privacy laws.
Our sub-processors must meet these requirements:
- Security measures — Implement technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the services they provide.
- Geographic standards — Operate primarily in the US and Europe. Any processors outside these regions must comply with approved legal transfer mechanisms outlined in International Data Transfer.
- Data minimization — Process only the data necessary for their specific purpose.
- Follow instructions — Handle personal data strictly according to the data controller’s instructions.
- Incident response — Cooperate fully in the event of data breaches or data subject requests.
- Staff training — Ensure all personnel are trained, vetted, and bound by confidentiality obligations under applicable data protection laws.
