All right so you have your e-commerce site ready to go it’s beautiful, your SEO is perfect, the graphics are amazing, the offers are incredible but nobody’s buying from you and you are still scratching your head why is that? what’s happening? and don’t be scared is 49% of people will not buy online because they don’t trust you and there is that one little thing that you have to do, is just generate trust. Step 1. Create very clear data privacy policies. Here in Europe GDPR is a big thing which is a law that rules on how we protect the data, and if we don’t follow those rules, companies can be completely destroyed. Make sure you put a small link in your website where people can follow and read each step of how are you protecting their private information
Number 2 Display security patches, 71% of customers, they want to see it. and the thing is important for websites to have a security badge or security seal. Protect your website by purchasing an SSL certificate and any other additional security seal that you can find and make sure people can see that your website is trusted by third parties
Step 3 Have a visible Contact Us page. people will check your Contact Us page before making the purchase, they want to know if they can reach you in case of there’s a problem, so be straightforward and have all the relevant information in one place: your phone number, email address social media who you are and that will make it easier for them to trust you

A lot of them will just leave and never come back if they don’t find a way to tell you what is good and what is not. Step number 8 Use outstanding support to your benefit people want to be treated well provide the best customer service you can and don’t forget that you have many channels that you can cover, your social media, LiveChat, Twitter. Anything you can to respond to people questions and try to answer the best way for them to come back to you.

Be honest, if you have no answers for what people are asking to be honest and tell them that you will come back with it with an answer they want to see that you’re a real person behind they want to trust a person as much as they want to trust a brand, so be honest show yourself as you are and people will get to trust you faster.
And step number 10. Be patient nothing happens overnight.
